Yanahuara is part of the 29 districts of
Arequipa. Approximately two kilometers from Arequipa’s
Historical Center we find Yanahuara’s neighborhood with small
streets and the typical houses that were built with “sillar”.
This village is one of the most turistic places in Arequipa.
This neighborhood has one of the most distinguished churches
from the regional half-caste art, constructed in 1750. The plaza
has a beautiful Viewpoint with panoramic views of Arequipa and
its three volcanos, the most famous being the Misti, and
Chachani and the Pichu Pichu. |
